Long Summary and Review and Spoilers:

Chitose (Heroine) was a character who was bullied throughout her school life, therefore having a personality that didn’t trust anyone. In the beginning, she was a mentally strong character and I really like that part of her, but as the story went on, she just got too physically weak. Not liking meat or oily food because of her constitution was still bearable but not liking fish just because there were bones………. Too picky (まじで我儘). What if Iris (Hero) and Haruto-sama (King of Roshien & Father) didn’t pick her up then she would really be unable to live a commoners life even though she keeps saying that she wished for it (A life without status). Chitose’s character development could have improved a lot more (especially on the strength bit). Another thing is that she could have better understood her situation with her increased intelligence. Since she can see in the dark I would love to see her use her other dragon abilities.

The first arc really got me into the story. Calm (カラメル公王) is a really well made character. He was evil but not evil where his character setting was where he does one thing but just acomplished other things (which are usually evil) along with it. Loved how Chitose just refused his proposal (using Iris as an excuse was just kinda forced since it was like “Oh because the author needed an excuse to refuse Calm so lets just have Chitose realize her love for Iris now). Otherwise I really like how Chitose wasn’t wishy washy and wanted Calm as a friend and not a lover and cut all ties with him then (and then got back together as friends and sent letters to each other – yeeeeeeeees with him out of the story would’ve been super sad). Calm’s puzzle music box on the last arc was super touching using hiragana and to send a message to Chitose.

I really liked the Toto family arc (4th arc) since she was just kidnapped for laughs due to Dale (Yakuza Waka-sama) trying to propose to Elysha (Toto’s Elder Sister), where Dale appologizes to Chitose by allowing her to step on him while being in a Dogeza. (Plus a few more times for saying that her chest was small. Pity that she didn’t have much strength).

Every time Chitose got drunk, the conversation gets hilarious as she picks verbal fights with everyone, especially the time where Iris got Chitose drunk intentionally knowing that he would get in real big trouble (Chitose made him a manslave/taxi. Good Job. Wouldn’t mind getting a tad bit drunk with this big of a reward). I totally approve of Chitose just giving Haruto Yuyu-hime and got them together in the end. I can’t believe that Yuyu-hime really wanted Chitose to call her mother even though she was only 2 years older (Good on her actually no complaints there).

Chitose getting kidnapped so many times got a little over the top but all was fine because the author made a joke out of it in a special side story that happens after the main story. (All the side stories are here –> http://ncode.syosetu.com/n9336ci/) Iris and Chitose went out on a date, where first, the MC got harassed in a Accessory store, then got hit on by a lolicon in a store causing trouble for the store itself (how dare that lolicon finished the MC’s cake and drink), then got kidnapped. Afterwards Iris was really sick of Chitose getting into trouble (and each crime was getting bigger and bigger, so as a result carried Chitose, but Iris got misunderstood for kidnapping a child and they got in trouble again.

The ending really was rather mellow. The war wasn’t well described, and the knowledge that she gained after gaining a private tutor wasn’t as well used. She was slightly part of the Intelligence Corps, but it would be better if she actually made up her mind to work there. Would actually love to see Iris and Chitose get married and maybe have kids, with Haruto and Yuyu-hime being super doting grandparents, and Calm somehow getting into the scene (I just really want him to have some involvement but cannot imagine how sigh too many possibilities)

ヤンデレ系乙女ゲーの世界に転生してしまったようです by 花木もみじ

Title (English): It seems like I reincarnated in a Yandere Otome game world

Lycoris from young had a adult mindset with a strange sense of deja vu. One day, as Lycoris hears about her fiancee from her father, she suddenly recalls his name as a character in an otome game she played in her previous life. “I am the game’s heroine’s rival position? One who’s killed in a Bad Ending type girl? Your kidding!” The MC works hard to avoid the Yandere happenings around her.

Thoughts about the series (With Spoilers):

I am impressed that this series did not turn into a reverse harem with everyone absolutely adoring the Main Character even with her position as a rival character in the game. She was not seriously oblivious about her feelings for her love, and banzai that she didn’t have awkward flings with other conquerable characters. (She was liked by the other game characters but not to the point that it was love love so all was fine. Friends are important after all yay)

The MC, using her previous knowledge which was fragmented and not all knowing, saved her fiancee and her brother from having a broken childhood causing their minds to be corrupted (therefore a yandere otome game).

  • Wolf was traumatized because he was fed with poison which was cooked by his potential future stepmother which did not go well (In the game the stepmother married his father) and therefore he was a woman hater
  • Shade was traumatized because his father and basically the whole family revered the “red of radiata” (Radiata is the family name of Shade and Lycolis) because people with red hair and eyes usually held great magic power, and Shade had red eyes. His father revered it so much that he went insane where one night he goes to Shade and says “give me your eyes” which is rather traumatizing if said to a 10 year old child really.

At the buildup to the climax of the story, the MC and her fiancee had a serious mental breakdown due to a magic that causes nightmares every time they sleep. It was intense understanding that even though it was a dream it causes serious delusion and misunderstandings between what is real and what is fake. The cure was rather cliche I must admit – When Lycoris told Shade that “Love” was all it needed, though it was interesting that there were brotherly love, fatherly love and love love included, well basically all types of love which would work – But overall the buildup was great since the MC was also unsure about her current life and what happened within the game.

Finally the whole ‘reincarnation’ theme had a solid solution, with Oria having the magic power to know “Possibilities” of what may happen which was written in a book which the MC reads, where Lilyum and Wolfgang’s story being exactly the same as the game she played (Other stories included Altered x Lycolis and Lycolis x Lilyum his imagination is needed and precious in the current character shipping world!). The MC describes words like “Yandere”, “PC Game”, “Otome Game”, “Multiple Choices” (basically words in relation to otome games and how it works, where Oria was very intrigued. Oria then wishes to be reincarnated into a world where such mechanisms exist so he can create such a game, and Lycoris realizes that most probably Oria did reincarnate and made the game that she knew to be a Yandere Game (Which was also what caused all her problems).

It was a really nice read understanding the growth period of the MC. Sadly Wolf x Lycolis ending development wasn’t much (Hilarious that the author wrote side stories where the MC complains about not even having her first kiss) but all is well 😀

Three years ago, “He” tripped from another world into Shiori’s room. “He” safely returned back to his world, but for some reason, this time Shiori was the one to trip in to his world. Without any one else to rely upon, Shiori sought  to meet with him. However, “He” became a hero.

Feels and more importantly Spoilers.

This is a love story between two people from different worlds. Initially not understanding each other’s language, Shiori was able to learn some words from the world “He” (Crust) came from and practiced it hoping to use it in the case he ever came back. Fortunately with the singular and limited words that she knew, she was able to live by in the other world without his help, since it was impossible to be granted a meeting with the current hero.

Crust also loved Shiori ever since their meeting 3 years ago. To the point of never washing the cloths he wore after suddenly transported back to his world, and keeping the clothes within his safe along all his treasures, and checking it every day as it was the only memory and evidence that he was with Shiori (Tsukkomi’ed by his magician friend) (yes a serious weirdo but was funny so its all fine).

Shiori goes through the trials of arriving in a different world with no assistance, language barrier, and the inner conflicts of whether to stay within Crust’s world or go back to Japan and go through the pains of finding a Job in the harsh working world. Another reason for her inner (whether to go back to Japan) conflict is because of not knowing whether Crust even remembered her, cared for her, with the rumors of his engagement (Which are obvious lies because Crust is a weirdo who is too in love with Shiori….)

Longer Summary:

After she arrives at Crust’s world, she walks from town to the castle which took 3 hours. She asks the castle guard whether he could fetch Crust, but because he was a hero you have fangirls and so was rejected because Crust would be really busy just meeting all his fans. Returning back to town, Shiori realizes she cannot rely on Crust and has to find work. However with a language barrier, she was rejected by all the shops. She ended at a fancy nightclub bar (basically a fancy place with drinks and food), and begged for a job. It was unsuccessful, but was then overheard by a man that she wanted work by a customer, and was hired. She was fed by this man, but realized that she was to work as a prostitute and wanted to quit. The man requested Shiori to repay the man for the food that she ate. Shiori obviously doesn’t have any money and was to be in deep serious trouble, but the man then suddenly fell asleep. Next to the man, was another man (Roche) who asked whether she wanted to work for him instead (saying that its definitely better than working for that other man and he was only Roche’s customer). To be continued………………
